Join our Systems Design team in Belfast, to lead the definition and development of cutting edge architectures for our advanced weapon system solutions.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

· Define and modify weapon system architectures incl. HW & SW elements to meet product requirements.
· Lead & co-ordinate specialists analysing technical choices and trade-offs between specifications, design, cost, schedule and risks.
· Maintain the architecture and approve acceptance from concept through to qualification acting as technical point of contact.
· Work with the product leadership to capture and analyse requirements and develop the solution.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications needed:

· System hardware or software architecting experience.
· Defining technical solutions for systems within typical constraints
· Generating design and test specifications
· Requirement analysis and negotiation.
· Requirement/Design trade-off experience.
· Design configuration control.
· Organisational, leadership and team working skills.
· 2:1 or higher degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Maths, Software, or Systems Engineering (or equivalent qualifications).
