SOFTWARE TEST AUTOMATION ENGINEER

Job Purpose

Automated testing of safety-critical software solutions used in the railway field. You'll work with experienced testers and engineers focusing on delivery of high quality products.

Job summary

Test of complex and safety-critical application software for the railway field, including:

· Specification of Test Cases on Requirements basis;
· Implementation of Test Cases for unit test and subsystem test. Writing of test programs and test data;
· Automation of Test Cases;
· Execution of manual and automated tests;
· Support of test environments, tools and simulation;
· Evaluation of the test output (coverage, traceability, progress);
· Test documentation;
· Regular test reporting.

Requested technical competence:

· Testing of complex software systems under usage of technical means like simulators and scripting languages;
· At least one scripting language (bash, java script, expect, …) – basic knowledge
· At least one programming language (C, Java, …) basic knowledge
· Linux command line operation – basic knowledge

Knowledge of the following is a plus:

· ClearQuest
· DOORS
