We are searching for a Marketing Manager focused on Content Merchandising for our transactional video business. The role will help improve our digital video business and create innovative and engaging customer experiences across our website, connected living room devices and mobile devices.

The Content Merchandiser will be responsible for driving a best in class customer experience by coordinating launches of new movie and TV content, as well as crafting plans for targeting and launching seasonal promotional campaigns, and developing messaging, content segmentation, and customer segmentation strategies to increase engagement rates across our customer base. The Content Merchandiser will also own developing and testing of new product features. The Content Merchandiser works closely with internal teams and across multiple functional areas including merchandising, product management, vendor management and marketing.

In this role the Content Merchandiser will be an advocate for movies and TV, with an eye for compelling merchandising, an aptitude for data-analysis, and a passion for continuous content testing. This role will hold a high bar for measurement of merchandising activities, and will define success metrics, measurement methods and reporting processes for your efforts. Our environment is fast-paced and requires someone who is flexible, detail-oriented, and comfortable working effectively in a deadline-driven work environment.

Our Content Merchandiser responsibilities will include:
· Working with studio partners and internal resources to procure, produce, schedule, QA, and launch each week a series of short teaser videos on Fire TV for new releases along with other supporting creative assets. Partnering with studios to procure the assets and direct internal creative agency to optimize the assets for the Fire TV experience. Scheduling the assets through our content management system and ensuring a flawless execution by QA'ing the assets in preview and production.
· Creating and scheduling individual merchandising campaigns to the Amazon Video homepages across website, living room devices and mobile devices, including regular new content launches and seasonal promotional campaigns.
· Optimizing in-app content campaigns, messaging and navigation through frequent testing and data analysis, documenting the results and sharing best practices.
· Analyzing data to identify customer segmentation strategies to utilize when merchandising content.
· Working closely with engineering to test and roll out new features, and influence overall product roadmap.
· Partnering with our marketing and content acquisition teams to craft and execute promotional events and bespoke content launches.
· Contributing to the development and testing of new customer-facing product features.
· Identifying opportunities for content efficiency and automation and working cross-functionally to implement them.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• BA in Marketing, Statistics/Analytics, or Business required
• Experience in creative development and design
• 3+ years relevant work experience in roles requiring data analysis, process improvements, creative problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration
• Demonstrated experience using data and metrics to measure performance and determine improvements
• Knowledge of Excel
• Aptitude for organization
• Ability to conceptualize and execute projects, with strong bias for action and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
