WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A HELPDESK MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN TO JOIN THE THALES TRANSPORTATION TEAM IN DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES.

The Helpdesk Maintenance Technician will be mainly responsiongle for the EC3 Help Desk operations and will support the maintenance tasks using the helpdesk system.

Key Responsibilities:


General

· Ensure SLAs are achieved
· Ensure customer satisfaction
· Ensure adherence to the company's process in line with best practice.

Technical Tasks


· Attend calls at (24x7)help desk* and make initial investigation of the problem
· Log user complaints/ issues in help desk system in order to generate a ticket
· Track RMA and warranty procedures
· Follow up on tickets once they are issued until the closure of the ticket
· Keep Helpdesk system updated and maintain data integrity
· Generate, maintain and track help desk reports
The helpdesk is a 24x7 operation, which may require working in rotating shifts.

Skills and Experience:

· A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering, Business or equivalent experience

Skills:

· Proficiency with computer applications MS Office, MS Project
· Previous experience in using a help desk system
· Ability to work under pressure
· A team player getting along well with people of different nationalities and backgrounds

Experience:

· Previous professional experience within IT Helpdesk operations is essential.
