About the job

As a Bid and Project Controller your responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of all contract cost and financial data. In this position you support program invoicing, reporting and funding deliverables. Evaluating, monitoring and implementing policies, practices and functional performance standards are part of the job as well. In this role you're like the financial conscience of the responsible project manager. You are a financial business partner that is able to give solicited and unsolicited advise to your stakeholders. Some of your tasks and responsibilities are:

· Validate the bid's financial components and parameters and descrepancies compared to the initial mandate and analyze the impact
· Verify that all conditions for coming into force of a contract are met
· Initialize the project (reviewing the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS), allocating the total budget, implementing management tools and structuring management of risks and opportunities), defining the sales and margin recognition method
· Update and monitoring of the project's financial components
· Measure and analyze the costs variances between actuals, forecasts, budget and baselines
· Re-evaluate the position at the end of the project (Estimate At Completion)
· Ensure forecasts and monitoring of revenues and cash flow
· Carry out final work in order to limit risks that might arise after delivery to the customer and performing post-completion evaluation of the project

Our Finance team is a key partner to the wider business and part of the role of Bid and Project Controller is to ensure that these relationships are managed and maintained appropriately, whilst providing subject matter expertise on both day to day issues and key initiatives. Communication skills are critical to your success in this role. You are responsible for the entire financial monitoring of your projects and the corresponding risk management.

About you

You have Bachelor or Master degree in Finance and some relevant years of work experience in project control. You have affinity with technical processes and a good knowledge of MS Office. We are looking for a candidate with passion for finance and who likes to work in an informal environment. Strong organization, analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills are crucial in this role. You are curious by nature and can grow into a professional role as business partner. Good communication skills and be a valued business partner. You have the ability to understand complex issues and to see the overall view. You have interest to work in an international and challenging environment. In addition, as a Bid and Project Controller you must possess the ability to work independently, in a team environment and with various organizational levels.
