Job description

Data Analyst is the main expert in data within Kuehne + Nagel's new standard WMS SwiftLog. He/she analyses the physical database schema, develops and maintains the logical/abstract data base layer for reporting, EDI and printing. The interpretation of the system's log files is another focus. Based on those foundations operational data can be accessed and the usage of the system can be evaluated.

Your tasks and responsibilities

·  Analysis of database schema of SwiftLog (powered by JDA WM) and extensions
·  Creation/maintenance of an abstract database layer
·  Analysis of log files and extraction of relevant information
·  Support for development of new reporting, EDI and printing solutions
·  Documentation, training
·  Local applications and APIs layer design
·  Consulting for implementation projects

Your skills and experience

·  Must have excellent English.
·  Should have knowledge in database architecture and development
·  Should have SQL knowledge
·  Should have communication and presentation skills
·  Should have strong analytical mind, abstract imagination and methodical competences
·  Will be required to travel nationally and internationally
