Role

We are currently looking for a DevOps Engineer or Systems Developer to manage and support suite of DevOps tools, including but not limited to Atlassian products.

Responsibilities:

·  Administer and Support components from Atlassian application stack (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) and ultimately accountable for the high availability of the infrastructure
·  Ensure company standards for proper performance and capacity are implemented
·  Manage large-scale enterprise environments
·  Lead problem resolution and coordination activities
·  Facilitate knowledge sharing by creating and maintaining detailed and comprehensive documentation and diagrams
·  Evaluate and implement new plugins and add-ons to improve the functionality
·  Participate in an on-call rotation for support of systems outside of normal business hours.
·  Position will require being available to perform occasional maintenance during non-business hours and over the weekends. Available for occasional business travel
·  Strong team player with a high degree of self-motivation and the ability to manage additional technical resources to meet the project requirements

Desired qualifications:

·  BS degree in computer science or related engineering degree.
·  At least 3 years experience in Installation, configuration, development, debugging, support and upgrades of Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket/Stash, Fisheye, Bamboo
·  At least 5 years experience in general programming/scripting (Python, Shell, Java) and automation frameworks such as Ansible to manage administration, monitoring and developing custom plug-ins and workflows
·  Proficient in setting up, managing and automating Confluence Spaces and permissions
·  Proficient in setting up and managing Jira projects and Git/Bitbucket repositories
·  Experienced in identifying access/permission related issues and fixing them
·  Should be able to quickly identify the root cause and resolve critical issues by looking across multiple layers (storage, OS, network, virtualization, and application / DB stack)
·  Strong documentation and communication skills
