About The Job

Main Responsibilities

- Working with suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver the right stock at the right time in the right place as well as communicating changes to plans to internal and external stakeholders.
- Managing the stock movement into depots to deliver service level targets Inc. direct deliveries from source
- Understanding systems forecasts and working with the relevant tools, buyers and store ordering team to ensure that supplier orders are correct and reflect store demand and trends.
- Maintaining the supplier ordering systems and the supply chain attributes in NBS to order the stock required, accurately and on time, ensuring that customers can consistently get what they want
- Working with store ordering team and systems to give my buyers insight to improve availability and reduce waste
- Support the projects with buying, SC transformation teams and suppliers to reduce costs
- Become an expert within your category area so you are seen as a true specialist
