Job description

TechnipFMC Surface International is a leading supplier of drilling, completion and production systems for onshore and offshore applications. Our technology focuses on safety and time savings. Our manufacturing facilities and service bases are strategically located in every major oil and gas basin worldwide.
TechnipFMC Surface International Norway has 143 employees and bases near Stavanger and Bergen. We are part of TechnipFMC with about 3100 employees in Norway. To increase our support for existing and new customers we need more skilled people to develop our organization. At our Surface International Base at Tananger we are now hiring.

Responsibilities
- Perform work in accordance with the company`s procedures and HSE standards
- Contribute to a positive working environment
- Assist workshop lead by training new personnel
- Contribute with continues improvement

Main Tasks
- Perform maintenance and service on Surface Wellhead equipment, valves and tools
- Perform maintenance, modification and repair (MMR)
- Troubleshoot workshop tools and surface equipment
- Pressure testing according to procedures
- Operate Torque/Make & Brake machine according to procedures
- Prepare service reports and update equipment service history
- Contribute to improve workshop processes and technical documentation
- Ensure order and tidiness on the workstation and workshop in general
- Relevant training will be given

Requirements
- Apprentice Diploma in one or more of the following areas is required: Mechanics, electronics, Automation, Hydraulics, CNC machining, Industrial
- Minimum 2 years relevant work experience is preferred but not required
- Overhead crane certificate, preferred not required
- Forklift certificate, preferred not required
- Good knowledge of Norwegian and English languages is necessary, both oral and written
- Focused on quality and safety
- Self-dependent, honest and service minded
