Embedded SW developer - Subsea Control System is wanted!

We are seeking the sharpest minds to take our world-class Subsea Production Control System technology even further. To meet new challenges and opportunities we have a challenging opportunity for ambitious and motivated Embedded Software Developer to join our Subsea Controls Product Software department.

As our new team member you'll be initially working with :

SW development tasks initially related to "All electric control system" currently under development. In the All electric control system we have requirements to develop a safety software system and safety software products for safety logic controller, motor controller and battery management controller. In this role you will be a part of a highly competent team with responsibility to develop the next era of subsea control system SW system with electrical actuators, subsea batteries and advanced safety software system. To be able to deliver complete SW systems it is important to work close with the Subsea Control System Electronics/HW department to develop Software for Custom HW.

Primary accountabilities and responsibilities:

Specify, develop, test and qualify software

· 
Interest and motivation to develop safety system software

· 
Write SW requirement specifications and documentation.

· 
Participate in SW development for safety system test environment.

· 
Assist in the standardisation of "all electric control system" HW and SW products

· 
Cooperate with different regions and co-workers all over the World

· 
Support the TechnipFMC service organization.

· 
The person with correct competence will be nominated and evaluated as product owner of a specific safety software product and/or sub-system.

Our new candidate have following competency and background:

Education as BSc or MSc in Computer Science/Embedded Software developer with C, C++, Visual Studio, GIT, Team Foundation Server (TFS) or similar experience.

Capabilities related to SW system understanding and some knowledge related to SW architectural design. Safety SW unit and SW system testing together with SW development experience is beneficial but not required. Motivation and drive can compensate for lack of experience.

Further, experience in real time operating systems is an advantage for SW development of new and to be able to interface existing generation software systems.

Experience in IP-technology, network, protocols, CanBus, drivers is useful but not required.

Personal capabilities :

You are solution oriented, have good communication skills, structured to solve complex problems, working well in cross-functional teams. Both senior and junior SW Developers are of interest and will be evaluated. Being eager to learn and taking on new challenges can compensate for experience.
