Passionate and ambitious SW Architect wanted!

We are seeking the sharpest minds to take our world-class Subsea Production Control System technology even further. To meet new challenges and opportunities we have challenging opportunities for passionate, ambitious and motivated Software Architect to join our Subsea Controls Product Software department.

As our new team member you'll be initially working with :

Short term will be main architect for SW for "All electric control system" currently under development. Further we have a lot of exiting additional and future opportunities that will require Software Architect(s) in existing business. The positions will also be evaluated with regards to future business opportunities related to other areas of energy software systems.

Primary accountabilities and responsibilities as SW Architect:

·  You have the capability to deep dive into technical solutions and implementations, and at the same time capability to see the overall picture and system impact.
·  Have the capability to define concepts and architectures that meet short term system needs but also have flexibility to implement "the future unknowns".
·  We are seeking either candidate with relative long experience within SW development and with some SW architect experience,
·  Or a junior or graduate SW developer that during evaluation demonstrate required skills related to a future Software Architect position in our department.
·  The Software Architect will have an important role in defining and establish Software Systems to meet current SW development programs and future new energy technology.

Our new candidate have the following competency and background:

Education as BSc or MSc in Computer Science or similar experience. Work experience can compensate for formal education.
Can-Do and positive attitude where you are able to guide and advice teams.
Passion, experience and interest in software system and concepts design to be able to make sure that our solutions support TechnipFMC and customers defined standards, safety, security and regulations.
Demonstrate and have proven good communication and social skills as you will have daily contact and interactions with customers, product owners and other design and operations teams.
To be successful we think it is important to have extra interest in technology, methodology and SW system design, and to be able to make tough decisions to ensure that R&D projects have necessary drive and speed.

Personal capabilities :

You are solution oriented, have good communication skills, structured to solve complex problems, working well in cross-functional teams. Are capable to fast get system overview and see how product implementations impact the overall system design and complexity.

You are determined, have a can-do attitude and are passionate about how we can utilize existing products, systems in new design and functions. And also be able to see when new design and technology and competence is required.

Both senior and junior Architects are of interest and will be evaluated. Being eager to learn and taking on new challenges can compensate for experience.
