JOB PURPOSE:

Ā·  Lead execution of assigned Subsea Drilling System (SDS) tenders/projects which may involve independent execution of tender/project scope, addressing all tender/project technical needs, interact with customers for any technical needs, or mentoring other engineers in the execution of tender/project.
Ā·  Provide full technical support to ensure smooth manufacturing and offshore operations which may include support for shop activities, mobilization, operational readiness reviews, addressing customer questions on operations, taking rig calls, after action reviews, conduct internal/external training on SDS product etc.
Ā·  Creates, reviews, and approves part reports, drawings, specifications, procedures, and tender/project documentation involving SDS technology or applications.
Ā·  Ensure that tenders and projects meet specifications, standards, all associated requirements, and delivery schedule.

Reports To:SDS Engineering Manager/SDS Engineering Group Lead
No direct report to this position, but may mentor drafters, designers, interns and engineers of lesser experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Ā·  Recognized Degree in Engineering.
Ā·  3 or more years of engineering experience in specialized area (operations / product design / tender)
Ā·  Detailed knowledge of at least one TechnipFMC or related product line, and general knowledge of several product lines.
Ā·  Competent in the application of TechnipFMC engineering software (TCE, SAP, Microsoft Office, Mathcad).
Ā·  Strong ability in understanding engineering drawings to interpret equipment/tool functionality, assembly, operations etc.
Ā·  General understanding of economic/commercial factors impacting technical decisions (cost, margin, profit, variation orders, schedule).
Ā·  Ability to interact with customers to provide technical advice, manage expectations, and deliver on commitments.
Ā·  Ability to thrive in fast pace working environment to quickly address any issues that may arise.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

Ā·  HR/QHSES induction training
Ā·  TCE and intranet system training.
Ā·  TechnipFMC subsea system and product training modules.
Ā·  Subsea School of Engineering Training modules as required
Ā·  TechnipFMC BPMS and local work instructions
Ā·  Subsea Wellhead AEDT
Ā·  Offshore drilling (casing selection, cementing, drilling fluid, rig systems, rig operations etc.)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ā·  Lead execution of assigned SDS tenders/projects which may involve independent execution of tender/project scope, addressing all tender/project technical needs, interact with customers for any technical needs, or mentoring other engineers in the execution of tender/project.
Ā·  Review and interpret customer technical specifications and industry codes.
Ā·  Provide full technical support in timely manner to ensure smooth manufacturing operation which may include support for equipment or tool machining, fabrication, assembly and test, inspection etc.
Ā·  Provide full technical support in timely manner to ensure smooth offshore operations which may include support for mobilization, operational readiness reviews, addressing customer questions on operations, attend customer drilling operation daily meeting, taking rig calls, provide rapid response to address offshore issue, conduct after action reviews etc.ā€¦
Ā·  Creates, reviews, and approves ECN packages for part reports, drawings, specifications, procedures, and tender/project documentation involving SDS technology or applications in accordance to TechnipFMC Global Work Instruction and STD.
Ā·  Ensure that tenders and projects meet specifications, standards, all associated requirements, and delivery schedule.
Ā·  Analyze designs, and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during tender, product design, manufacturing, fabrication, operations planning, onshore operations, offshore operations etc.
Ā·  Investigate non-conformances and provide technical disposition. Identify root cause of any technical problems and propose solutions to ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
Ā·  Actively consult and collaborate with other departments where necessary to ensure timely execution of all assigned deliverables. These may include but is not limited to quality assurance, quality control, product planning, project management, offshore service technicians, service base personnel, field development engineers, system engineers, engineers from other product lines.
Ā·  Ensure use of standardized products, procedures, and documents as best as possible, and actively seek and pursue ways to standardize on engineering deliverables, processes, and documents.
Ā·  Responsible for quality and on-time-delivery of assigned tasks.
Ā·  Ensure good personal time management and weekly time entry into SAP system.
Ā·  Execute assigned work conforming to TechnipFMC BPMS, client/internal/industry specification, TechnipFMC QHSES policies, TechnipFMC design guidelines etc.
Ā·  Actively participate in planning and scheduling of assigned projects or project being tender.
Ā·  Provide input to and support improvements to processes or work instructions.
Ā·  Assist in making accurate cost estimates for tenders.
Ā·  Mentor and check the work of drafters / designers / engineers of lesser experience.
Ā·  Conduct internal and external training on SDS product and technologies.
Ā·  All other work duties that may be delegated by the Engineering Group Leader or Engineering Manager.

Priority will be given to the local candidates.
May need to travel as required depending on project/ customer needs.
