Purpose:

The MMR Technicians, assisted by MMR Helpers, are responsible for carrying out all MMR activities for customer equipment, under the supervision of the MMR Supervisor. This includes:
·  Dismantling and cleaning
·  Assembly, make-ups and pressure testing
·  Greasing and packaging
·  Loading and unloading
·  Responsible for personalSafety and for identifying risks and hazards in the workplace

Duties and Responsibilities:
·  Dismantling and cleaning equipment
·  Assembling equipment making use of DBI's and drawings
·  Assisting with make-up, shot blasting and painting activities
·  Pressure testing according to API / TechnipFMC requirements
·  Greasing and packaging of equipment
·  Good housekeeping (5S) and conformance to all HSE policies and procedures
·  Loading and unloading trucks using forklift
·  Materials handling using overhead crane

Scope of Responsibilities
·  Will work under the supervision of the MMR Supervisor. The amount of guidance given will depend on the experience level of the MMR Technician
·  Pressure testing ensures the integrity of pressure retaining equipment, however we do rely on the MMR Technicians to assemble equipment correctly – this relies on good training and good supervision
·  Impact of errors is increased costs, missed delivery dates and damaged reputation of the company.
·  Dismantling and cleaning equipment

·  Pressure testing according to API / TechnipFMC requirements
·  Greasing and packaging of equipment

Work Environment:
·  Spends 90% of time in shop environment with no AC. Major hazards are materials handling (forklifts and overhead cranes) and pressure testing
·  Physically fit

Must have:
·  Minimum 2 years' mechanical experience in a workshop or manufacturing environment, preferably with oil-field equipment
·  Familiarity with wellhead products is an advantage
·  Pressure testing experience is a big advantage
·  Experience of slinging / using overhead crane. Forklift license an advantage
·  Good spoken English, confident communicator
·  Willingness to work long hours when necessary to meet customer requirements

Nice to have:
·  TechnipFMC product knowledge, including understanding of DBI's and drawings
·  TechnipFMC HSE programs
·  IT systems (email, HRWeb, Traincaster)
·  Overhead crane and forklift
·  Pressure Testing
·  H2S awareness training
·  BPMS and TechnipFMC Quality programs
