Job Purpose: To ensure that all plant and equipment across the TUK estate in Aberdeenshire is
serviced and maintained to an appropriate standard ( SFG20) and compliant with UK law.

Job Scope (budget, management, specific criteria):
Responsible for ensuring all matters relating to utilities, along withmechanicaland electrical plant are managed in an efficient cost effective manner.
Ensure all servicing, maintenance and repair is conducted safely, complying withrelevant HSE, company standards, processes and procedures.
Responsible for sourcing specific parts and repair materials via Procurement
Main accountabilities:
Ensure that the PPM schedule is maintained and managed within the designated timelines to theappropriate standard
Complete all paperwork for audit compliance
Direct and liaise with specialist M & E contractors in the performance of their workscope
Complete reactive tasks for mechanical, electrical and plumbing as directed by the Facilities Helpdesk
Provide first response and diagnostics to breakdowns and advise of appropriate remedial action
Manage the BMS systems to achieve maximum efficiencies with regard to operation, comfort and cost
Participate in environmental initiaitves with regard to reducing energy usage
Monitor plant lifecycles
Provide on call services, as and when required
Ensure all equipment utilised in performing the above noted tasks is fit for purpose, and tested / certified in accordance with HSEguidance
Ensure all work scopes are completed in line with company and legistaive HSE requirements
Diagnose and repair faults on systems and plant including basic electrical fault finding
Undertake maintenance and fabric improvement works

Recognised trade qualification
IPAF
PASMA
Typical background and experience required:
Essential:
Use of technical instrumentation for set up and commissioning of industrial, commercial and domestic heating plant and associated equipment
PC literate โ Microsoft office and PPM software
Experience in managing ppm schedules, reactive and project works in requested timescales, complying with company HSE guidleines and allocated budgets
Experience in installations and major and minor repair works to plant
Experience in working alongside, and directing sub contractors
