Job title – Civil Designer

Job purpose :

· 
Designs the installation in his/her discipline in one project.

Reporting lines and interactions:

· 
Hierarchically reports to: Lead Discipline Engineer / Discipline / Department Manager

· 
Operationally reports to: Group Leader / Lead Discipline Engineer.

· 
Directly supervises (operationally): Possibly Draftsmen.

Key interactions (internally, externally):

· 
Internally : Designers of other disciplines, specialist engineers.

· 
Externally : None.

Key interactions (internally, externally):

· 
Internally: Lead Discipline Engineer, Other site discipline field engineers and Project manager.

· 
Externally: Sub-contractors, vendors.

Job scope (budget, management, specific criteria):3 to 5 Draftsmen working on the specific project.

Profile:
Must have:
· 
Technical Diploma with 5+ years' experience OR Engineering Diploma with 3 to 5 years' experience in

· 
Design and execution of the Projects in the area of onshore or offshore facilities.

· 
Significant working experience in 3D modeling.

· 
Knowledge of material.

Main Accountabilities :

· 
Ensures the qualitative design of the installation in his/her discipline in one project within contractual requirements and Technip standards and procedures in coordination with other disciplines.

· 
Ensures the accuracy of the material take off.

· 
Possibly supervises draftsmen.
