CAD Designer

As a CAD Designer in TechnipFMC Krakow you will be part of a strong team consisting of 100+ experienced engineers representing different disciplines, where mutual learning and support is regarded as one of our key success criteria.You will be working on international Subsea and Surface Equipment Projects for Oil & Gas Industry worldwide.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· 
Perform 3D modeling and 2D drafting within schedule and with respect to Quality and Safety requirements related with design, field use, verification and testing of equipment.

· 
Manage CAD tasks, ensure milestones completion and on time delivery. Handle design/drafting packages, report on a continuous basis.

· 
Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment, using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) software.

· 
Control proper BOM's (Bill of Material) structure.

· 
Perform Tolerance Stackup calculations for assemblies.

· 
Coordinate with and consult other workers to design, lay-out, or detail components and systems and to resolve design or other problems.

· 
Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed.

· 
Preparing 3D models in parametric mode.

· 
Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems.

· 
Lay-out, draw, and reproduce illustrations for reference manuals and technical publications to describe installation process and maintenance of mechanical systems.

· 
Participation in supporting of the new devices / installations start-up.

· 
Work to standard procedures or written instructions from task requestor.

· 
Provide technical assistance to manufacturing / engineering groups.

· 
Prioritizes workload based on input from supervisor regarding deadlines and due dates according to work schedules.

· 
Other duties as required

REQUIREMENTS

·  Minimum 3 years of experience in Product Design & Development using 3D CAD software (NX preferred).
·  Ability to read and interpret schematics, prints, mechanical drawings, and written technical information.
· 
Ability to work in Project Team. Cooperate with Engineering, Quality, Assembly & Test departments.

· 
Good knowledge on parametric design, arrangements/configurations.

· 
Good understanding of Manufacturing and Welding processes.

· 
Good knowledge of ISO drafting standards. Knowledge of ASME standards will be advantage.

· 
Experience in GD & T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance).

· 
Ability to calculate Tolerance Stackup for assemblies.

· 
Experience in using UG NX6/ CREO will be advantage.

·  Good communication skills to discuss and explain technical information with all project stakeholders.
·  Attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness.
·  Knowledge of mechanical principles, terminology, safety requirements and practices.
