TechnipFMC are looking for a bright and talented Business Analyst to support the Business Development Win-It team in developing the Onshore / Offshore Oil and Gas market in Australia. You will be responsible for market research and analysis including market trends and intelligence, accurate reporting and competitor analysis.
Key accountabilities
· Ensure TWIST (Salesforce database) is accurately maintained with market information (resource planning, competition, financial)
· Produce reports for Tendering, forecasting and resourcing (monthly)
· Yearly Budget forecasting exercise
· Competitor Analysis / Partnership analysis
· Maintain the track record / history database and produce reports when required
· Prepare external and internal presentations (using gathered market data, etc.)
· Support Key Account Management
· Undertaking Business Case Studies
· Create and Maintain project data sheets and prospect slides
· Support to the Business Development and Tendering team during peak periods
Key selection criteria
Qualifications
Business / Marketing or Engineering Degree preferred
Knowledge, skills and experience
· Broad knowledge of the oil and gas market
· Experience of the offshore / onshore oil and gas industry through either market analysis, planning, sales and/or projects
· Strong analytical skills
· Passion for knowledge and research
· Methodical, detail-minded approach to work
· Ability to work under own initiative with minimum supervision or direction
· Strong networking ability
· Highly developed communication skills both written and spoken
This role will require someone with the flexibility to work extended hours as and when required to meet the job/ project requirements and to attend exhibitions stands when necessary.
