V.I.E. 18 MONTHS : JUNIOR PROJECT AND COMMODITY SOURCING BUYER
Within the Sourcing division, the VIE will carry on the following tasks:
Commodity Sourcing: Manage of the purchase portfolio of “xDSL modems customization":
- Analyse the components portfolio (packaging, prints, xDSL filters)
- Technical optimization of the components in the portfolio aiming at cost reductions
- Challenge the prices obtained by the subcontractor selecting the suppliers and negotiating in Technicolor’s name
- Update of the information system (pricing and other terms and conditions)
- Performance reporting
- BID Management for the selection of xDSL development and production partners
- Analysis of the selected partner nomenclatures in a cost optimisation view
Projects Souring: Progressively take over the Project Sourcing for one then two new products
Profile
Student from top ranking engineer schools
Fluent English
A first experience in negotiation as well as a good knowledge of electronic components and packaging would be an advantage
