Job description

For our 8 inch wafer fab in Switzerland (0.35-0.18-0.11um capability), we are looking for a

MES Engineer

to ensure availability of MES functionalities and operation for IC-Frontend shop-floor management.

Your tasks will include:

Responsibility for all MES shop-floor modelling in IC-Frontend, including, but not limited to factory, workcenter, worflows, processes, process capabilities, products, recipes, scripting…
Act as interface between factory and MES System Expert for modelling business processes, user interfaces, reporting, component development and equipment integration to the associated automation layer
Support IC-Frontend related integration and interfacing with related systems (ERP, run-to-run engines, ADC, legacy database, JMP SPC, etc…)
Support and assist production staff for MES related issues, questions and requests while analyzing and reducing support calls and issues
Act as interface between factory, MES System Expert and Administrator for coordinating system upgrades and application updates
Act as a backup and support other factories as part of the MES team (cross-knowledge)

Profile

ETS Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent.
5 years working experience in an industrial environment
Experience in MES deployment in a factory operations environment
Software development experience using MES software, Microsoft .Net, ASP .Net, C#, VB .Net, Java frameworks, SQL Server, Oracle

Professional requirements

MES integration experience with ERP and other software applications and automating shop-floor equipment an advantage

Languages

Fluent in French and English (spoken and written)
