The Trade Compliance Analyst will support the overall global customs strategy for SUEZ's Water Technologies & Solutions (WTS) in line with the process and guidelines. This position will manage key data and provide strategic reporting and analytical information while supporting the operations and program initiatives. This role will report directly to the Global Trade Compliance Manager.

Essential Responsibilities

·  Use data mining, analytics, and business judgment to help identify, prioritize, structure and solve complex global Trade Compliance issues
·  Summarize findings into useful information that can be used to support manufacturing strategies, reduce costs, and/or drive Supply Chain business decisions
·  Develop models to recommend inventory placement configurations and optimize duty/tax costs as relates to trade agreements
·  Help foster trusting relationships with business partners
·  Track KPIs and report on trade compliance performance
·  Create dashboards, reports and analyses that explain what happened, what may happen, and why
·  Manage broker performance across all regions
·  Identify and understand various data sources: explore large volumes of online and offline data across platforms and data sets
·  Manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
·  Maintain a strong understanding of data processes, strategies, and trade activities

Required

·  4-year college degree from an accredited university in either Computer Science, Operations Research or Supply Chain
·  4 years of work experience in International Trade or Global Import/Export operations for multinational company

Desired

·  2+ years of experience analyzing large, multi-dimensional data sets using Excel and other analysis tools
·  Effective data visualization aptitude, Tableau Developer experience a plus
·  Familiarity with data warehousing and architecture concept tools including Visio
·  Experience in SAP particularly Data Mapping and Mining
·  Must have experience presenting data and its implications
·  Strong analytical and critical thinking experience
·  Eager to gain and share knowledge with co-workers, Familiar with SharePoint
·  Experience working in a team environment and display strong interpersonal skills
·  Self-directed, adaptable, strong work ethic, ability to multi-task, and confidence handling adjusting priorities and goals in changing circumstances
·  Strong organizational skills with ability to independently prioritize work focused on the project and task goal
·  Ability to work independently and within a team
·  Excellent ability to communicate (written and verbal) with multiple levels of leadership as well as cross-functional business and technical teams
