The Product Applications Specialist for the Endotoxin markets will work closely with the product management and commercial team to drive growth of the product line by acting as applications champion across the organization. This includes defining critical product and application requirements, developing detailed sales tools, supporting consultative sales processes, training global sales teams, conducting customer application studies, and authoring detailed case studies.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

·Identify new applications and markets, validate a technical fit, and help develop the strategy necessary to maximize potential sales opportunity.

·Help develop and support a consultative sales process inclusive of industry-specific and application-specific sales strategy, customer facing support materials, channel and customer training, detailed sales tool development, and applications support during the sales cycle.

·Support field sales activity through technical seminars, trade-show attendance, presenting technical papers at key industry conferences, and support of key sales demos.

·Travel to existing and potential customer locations globally to develop an in-depth, real-world understanding of the applications, and drive growth of the product line in this market.Expected travel up to approximately 50%.

·Develop application notes, competitive positioning analyses, technical papers, executive summaries, and other marketing material to support sales activity.

·Understand applicable regulatory environments.

·Where appropriate, support customer pilot studies to demonstrate and validate successful online and at-line cleaning validation strategies.

·Work in cooperation with the product management team to collect, analyze and prioritize voice of the customer to drive product development, product enhancements and application-specific solutions.

·Comply with all company policies including Quality and EHS.

Qualifications/Requirements

·Bachelors of Science Degree in chemistry, biology, microbiology, chemical engineering, or a related science.

·At least 3 years of product applications/management work in the Endotoxin measurement systems markets including analytical equipment and data management software

Eligibility Requirements

·Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% globally

Skills and Abilities

·Expertise in global regulations relating to the analysis of Endotoxin and use of LAL reagents

·Expertise in validation of Endotoxin measurement systems and related software systems

·Strong analytical and organizational skills

·Strong oral and written communication skills; experience publishing in peer-reviewed journals

·Strong computer and Outlook/Microsoft software suite skills

·Customer facing and group presentation experience

·Demonstrated ability to effectively drive strategic plans

·Experience with analytical instrumentation

·Masters of Science Degree in a chemistry-related field
