Meter Reader

Job description

·  Performs all functions relating to meters including reading, setting, changing, disconnecting, repairing, (final reads, special reads, and high bill investigations).
·  Oversee meter reading administrative work and reports to ensure accuracy and conformity to company policy and procedures. This includes, but not limited to, high & low meter reading edits, meter reading exceptions reports, create and follow up on service order relating to meter reading exceptions.
·  Set up and maintain billing schedules and liaison with Management to ensure adherence and accuracy of meter reading uploads/downloads
·  Coordinate door hangers and letters for violations, damage equipment, and no access and does follow up letters.
·  Update accounts as needed prior to prime billing and ensuring critical account information recorded in a timely manner.
