Description :

Essential Functions:

·  Plan, develop, organize, write and edit operational procedures and manuals
·  Explain scientific and technical ideas in simple language
·  Create user documentation for a variety of material, including how-to-guides and instruction manuals
·  Ensure technical language is easy to understand by layperson
·  Research, develop and document technical design specifications and test scripts
·  Produce electronic documentation in addition to hard copy manuals
·  Work with internal teams to obtain in-depth understanding of all equipment and documentation requirements
·  Maintain comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation
·  Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style content
·  Manage updates and revisions to technical literate
·  All other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications / Requirements:

·  High School diploma or GED equivalent
·  Min 1 year experience working in a technical writing position

Desired

·  3+ years experience working in a technical writing position
·  Experience with manufacturing processes
·  Bachelors Degree in Technical Writing, Engineering, Biochemistry or related field
·  Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite
·  Experience with Sharepoint
·  Strong communication skills both verbal and written
·  Strong attention to detail
·  Ability to work independently
·  Self starter​
