- France, the United Kingdom and Germany
- as well as in Australia and New Zealand.
The company distributes a total of more than 50 films a year.
Additionally, STUDIOCANAL owns one of the most important film librairies in the world, boasting more than 6,500 original titles from more than 60 countries. including 6,000 films for whom the company is responsible for the custody as well as restoration. It also manages the sales of rights to those films, notably for remakes.
Poste et missions:
- Control theatrical P&A expenditure (i.e. all release costs, including marketing), including analysis of variances to budget and approval of all theatrical purchase orders
- Create and maintain theatrical P&A budgets by department
- Key liaison for theatrical P&A departments
- Prepare month end P&A adjustments
- Prepare P&A cost forecasts
- Manage ECF (Expenditure Commitment Form) submission and approval process
- Maintain film title ultimate P&L forecasts and upload to group financial system
- Prepare and submit post release ultimate updates to parent company
- Prepare all necessary financial reporting relating to theatrical P&A grants
- Support reforecast process
- Prepare ONS (National Statistics) reporting as required
- Assistance with preparation of royalty statements as required
- Ad hoc cost reporting and analysis as required.
Profil:
- Minimum of 1 year experience within a finance function
- Part qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA or undergraduate degree including significant finance content
- Knowledge and understanding of SAP
- Intermediate Excel or higher (pivot tables, nested functions)
- Bright and motivated with keen attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to effectively interact with non-finance personnel
- Proactive with positive can do attitude
