The Team
The System Environment Engineering team is a multi-site, multi-disciplinary organisation supporting the needs of the Imaging Division of ST Microelectronics. The System Environment team is organised in two sites, one in Grenoble and one in Edinburgh. The team is a central group responsible for the development of the hardware platforms required by the applications, product, test, validation and characterisation teams and by our customers.
We are responsible for the maintenance and development of automated benches used in the validation and characterisation solutions
The Role
This position is for a System Environment technician to support the team. This is a widely varying role to support the hardware design engineers and covers items such as programming & testing of boards, demo & kit preparation, mechanical assembly, in-coming quality control and inventory management of items required for demo.
The role could be extended when required to board rework/repair, purchasing support for the team, lab maintenance, board debug as well as creation of Bills of Materials etc
