STMicroelectronics is a worldwide leader in semiconductors. Among its success factors, the secure microcontrollers and the associated system solutions ensure the security of mobile communication, banking, identity and authentication.

Within the Research and Development site in Rousset, you will be integrated in the “Tools and Firmware” development team within the “Secure Microcontroller Division (SMD)”.

This team, highly skilled in embedded real time software, is in charge of the development and integration of secured firmware, ensuring the root security of all of the secure products.

In order to sustain the new products roadmap, the team is eager to welcome new competencies. You will collaborate with the other SMD teams (engineering, design, development, validation, application, program management) in order to:

 

Firmware Developpment

- Design and develop product firmware, ensure the functional specification are covered and the products meets the requirements to obtain secure and functional certifications
- Contribute to firmware  documentation provided to customers and to security  evaluation laboratories
- Propose innovative methods and techniques to improve product robustness and security
- Provide support on deliveries

Profile

BAC + 5 (engineer, MASTER …) with a significant experience in embedded & real-time software development’s
4 to 10 years of experience
Experience in ARM processors and in software & hardware architecture

 

Desired Technical Competencies :
- C/C++, Python
- Debugging techniques  for embedded devices (debugger, scope, protocol analyzer)
- ISO7886, ISO14443, I2C, SPI interfaces
- Processor XP70 or ARM SC000, SC300, M35P
- Comfortable with software development ToolChain (Keil ArmCC), methodologies (coverity MISRA), configuration management (SVN and GIT) and test automation (Python, Jenkins)

 

Desired Behavioral Competencies :
- Team Work, including interaction with remote sites
- Good communication skills
- Synthetis capability and good reporting
- Good English level (written and oral)
