Job description

The Application Team provides all the software tools, performance reports and documentation needed to facilitate the integration of our products into our customer's application. As part of this dynamic team working on products with high technological content, in fast-growing segments, you are in contact with Research and Development teams to develop and promote Photonic products.

The products you support are used in various applications: assistance to autofocus in mobile phones, presence detection, distance measurement … The complexity of our products lies in the fact of integrating a laser transmitter and a receiver into a very small package(http://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/about/media-center/press- item.html / p3918.html).

In close collaboration with experienced engineers and local and international development teams, you contribute to the validation of our product. You also act as a level 2 support for the Field Application Engineers to ensure the integration and test of our product in the customer application.

You evolve the software environment and the validation infrastructure according to the needs of the product. You develop some demonstrators to help the promotion of our device.  

You ensure the technical writing of your actions imperatively in English.

Profile

Your varied skills range from electronics to software development, including the development of electronic boards and measurement benches.  

Programming in C and Python are expected on this post.  

You have good communication skills in order to work in a team in an international and multicultural environment
