The Intern e-Commerce Business Analyst responsibilities include generating online sales reports, analyzing trends in customer orders, and evaluating changes to help achieve the e-Commerce business goals and improve the customer buying journey.

 

The Intern will work closely with the Head of e-Commerce and other stakeholders with evaluating & integrating other  business data such as web analytics and sales data to analyze customer interest and behavior to increase the efficiency of our online marketing campaigns.  Additionally, the Intern will assist in collaborating with across teams as well as the business organization to help customize online transaction processes and collect customer insights.

 

Responsibilities

 

·  As the e-Commerce Analyst Intern you will work with the head of e-Commerce to determine the business KPI’s and create and maintain standardized reports for the team
·  Business metrics to be tracked include, but not limited to: UX improvements Customer behavior on site, Customer purchase analysis (retention & increase purchase frequency)
·  Capture daily, weekly, monthly and yearly e-Commerce KPI’s and analyze trends over time
·  Perform analysis into our key KPI’s to recommend the “why” of our customer’s behavior
·  Perform analyses and submit recommendations to improve our e-Commerce business. 
·  Support development for reporting and performance by device making recommendations for site and email optimizations based on KPI’s
·  Assist in tracking reporting, and analyzing homepages, landing pages, and other key pages to optimize e-Commerce and site merchandising efforts
·  Work with eCommerce manager and technical team to develop new functionality that would result in conversion improvements.
·  Analyze conversion rate optimization activities (such as A/B testing) and report on findings
·  Recommend and Implement best practices for reporting and report templates

Profile

 

Qualifications  

·  Currently completing coursework on Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Data Analysis, Marketing, Digital Marketing/e-Commerce or a related field and a strong analytical and critical thinking skills. 
·  Knowledge in e-Commerce web analytics - Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics is a plus
·  Knowledge of Power BI or Tableau is a plus
·  Advanced knowledge of MS Office – Advanced Excel experience required 
·  Ability to generate insights from information
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·  Work cross functionally with internal teams
·  Up to 12 months internship (possible extension)
