Job description

The candidate will be responsible for:

• Defining how to meet confirmed delivery dates in line with company objectives of just in time delivery and inventory targets

• Managing backlog, optimizing on a daily basis the commitments of the Division versus customer demand

• The quality of information and communication as far as delivery dates and quantities are concerned

• Defining priorities and coordinating back-end activities to meet customer demand,

• Giving visibility and anticipating changes which may affect products, locations and future manufacturing configurations

• Loading and optimizing the capacity at the best in line with division strategy and customers’ qualifications

• Controlling, monitoring and updating planning parameters such as cycle time and yield inside planning systems,

• Intervening at all levels of the Supply Chain so that urgent requests from customer are taken into account.

 

Profile

Master’s degree in engineering, Business or equivalent

Years of Supply Chain experience - 1 to 5

Fluent in French and English

Good communication skills, positive attitude and strong team player

Rigor & reliability, Customer-oriented

Sense of priority, well organized

Open minded, produce new ideas, adapt to changing environment

Good use of IT systems, particularly Excel/SAP

Ability to “make it simple” in a complex environment

Ability to step back ("Helicopter view") and autonomy
