Job Description

Flagship is a B2B SaaS product that aims to provide a developer friendly experimentation and feature flagging platform with cross-device implementation tools. We provide a web application, a public API and SDK libraries for our customers to enable them to test new features, optimize their applications and analyse their product in a data driven way.

Flagship technical environment
The Flagship product relies on a large scope of programming languages and hosting technologies that will spark your interest.
We make a big use of PHP / Symfony with the API Platform, Go for micro services, Javascript (front and back), Docker & Kubernetes, and a lot more to provide a reliable, fast and highly distributed platform for your customers.

Your role :

·  Write quality, effective, reusable and documented code
·  Develop new features to meet the demands of the product team
·  Be part of projects from the design phase to the final production phase
·  Maintain the current platform so that the customer experience is ever improved
·  Implement best practices for existing and future code bases

Preferred Experience

·  You have at least 2 years of experience as a Backend developer
·  You have at least one strong experience with object oriented language
·  You have worked with PHP7 and Symfony (API Platform is a plus)
·  You have worked on highly scalable systems with high traffic
·  You have knowledge in unit and functional tests
·  You are competent with the concepts of SQL databases
·  You have worked in API and knowledge of REST standard would be a plus
·  You have worked with the Go language before or would like to
·  You have worked with cloud providers like AWS or GCP and have knowledge of cloud native architectures
·  Having worked with mobile apps (iOS / Android) is a plus as we develop mobile SDKs
·  You have a good level of English (spoken and written)
·  You are able to think outside the box to identify and solve problems whilst developing creative and innovative solutions
·  You are able to handle multiple tasks in an environment where activities are happening at a fast pace
·  You are passionate about what you do, that is why you perform a daily technological watch
