Time & Attendance System (Kronos) Manager - Band 7 – Northampton
Salary: Upto £42,705.00 per annum
Hours: Full-time 37.5 per week
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Applications Support team, to work with customers and colleagues to manage the new Kronos Time and Attendance system. Using standard development and support practices you will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, system administration & support. In addition to the Business Owner, the System Manager will assist the Payroll Administrative Staff, HR Business Partners and Front-line Managers.
Ideally you will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience of working in a similar Kronos environment (or equivalent T&A system) and have full knowledge of software development lifecycles. Good technical knowledge of SQL programming and familiarity with the programming environment, languages & reporting tools and familiarity with Web technologies.
Education and experience:
Working knowledge of Kronos Time & Attendance/ Scheduling Systems or equivalent
Expert knowledge of Time & Attendance/ Scheduling processes and procedures
Significant experience of spread sheet and database systems
Computing degree or equivalent experience
Understanding of ITIL v3
Ability to analyse complex structural information
Accurate documentation and procedure writing skills
Ability to convey system concepts clearly and persuasively to non-technical staff across the Charity
Ability to conduct end user training and awareness
Ability to manage 3rd party suppliers
