Job description

Solvay Business Services (SBS) is the Solvay Group's global service provider in Finance and Human resources End-to-End processes - alongside a highly qualified Information Services (IS) team of professionals.

This position is based in Carnaxide and as Accountant working with all EMEA countries where Solvay is based, the following domains and tasks can be assigned to your role in the Record to Report department inside Management Accounting Team.

What do we expect from you?

· Costing and Cost Accounting:
· Monthly Management of Costing Allocations;
· Inventory Revaluation;
· Financial Posting with impact in Costing domain;
· SAP Costing Master Data creation;
· Inventory Accounts Reconciliation.

Main mission

Ensure daily activities within Service Unit Management Accounting Team (listed above); Participation in standardization and harmonization projects.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

·  Degree in Accounting, Finance or other related fields
·  Less than 2 years of experience in accounting and/or audit - Beginner level
·  Resilient, team-player, open minded for a multicultural environment, flexible, dynamic, innovative
·  Fluent in English (other additional language is a plus)
·  SAP knowledge is a plus
