Job Overview and Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities

·  Champion for safety and environmental performance
·  Ensure day-to-day operational compliance with safe work procedures
·  Manages and directs operations and shift maintenance workforce to achieve production and quality objectives
·  Coordinates production efforts to meet schedule requirements
·  Motivates, coaches and develops subordinates to achieve high performance work team
·  Familiarization with all equipment and processes in Unit to become effective trouble-shooters and works with operators to develop this skill and develops an effective trouble-shooting team
·  Develop effective working relationships across a broad range of functional groups
·  Manages the group to control costs at budgeted levels
·  Collect, document and present critical details
·  Participate in incident investigations
·  ERO Leader

Education and Experience

·  High School Diploma, or equivalent
·  Some college or technical training applicable to plant operations is preferred
·  3-5 years experience in manufacturing environment.  Supervisory background preferred
·  Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts
·  Positive attitude towards safety, quality, and people
