Med-Lab a successful export Company requires a full time Quotes Administrator to work at their office in Derby. The ideal candidate will have experience of an export environment, handling quotes and processing orders.

Job Overview and Responsibilities:

• To act within set guidelines to serve as a liaison between customers and suppliers. 
• Respond to customer enquiries and requirements
• Responsibilities include quoting, sourcing new products and specifications, and ensuring that specifications and contractual requirements are met
• Review of requests for quotation and contracts including specifications called out in the documentation
• Determining if customer/material requirement can be met by an existing Product Code.  Liaising with Finance department to ensure that customer credit rates are acceptable.
• Liaising with Suppliers to establish cost price, lead times and ship dates
• Determining the sell price of products using pricing guidelines
• Quoting price and delivery to the customer, in the form of a formal quotation
• Entering details of customers, products, quotes and suppliers into bespoke IT system
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and other related duties as assigned
• To perform all forms of office duties as and when required

Education and Experience:

• Minimum GCSE education
• Experience of the transport of Dangerous Goods would be an advantage
• Experience of export procedures would be an advantage
• Aerospace experience an advantage

Skills:

• Office Administration Skills
• Work experience will include working in an office environment with strong teamwork skills and cross functional experience
• Proficient in Microsoft office, database entry and use of email systems
• Must have strong communication skills, verbal, telephone and written
• The ability to learn our bespoke IT-based quotation and sales order processing system (full in-house training will be provided)
