Job Overview and Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide laboratory support to the Agrochemical business in Australia. This role will report to the Lab Manager.

Main Responsibilities: 
•Assist in project work and development of new Agrochemical formulations 
•Assist in building global technical data for Solvay’s products and systematic records of experiment results 
•Manage the purchase of laboratory equipment, consumables, packaging items as well as sourcing of raw materials 
•Manage the calibration of laboratory equipment 
•Ensure proper housekeeping of the laboratory while maintaining Solvay's safety requirements and procedures in the laboratory 

Education and Experience:

·  Minimum Bachelor Degree in Chemistry or similar discipline
·  Fresh graduates are welcome to apply 
·  Experience in a laboratory environment with good computer literacy in Microsoft Office
