Job description

JOB SUMMARY
This position is required to implement and maintain QC procedures including of testing methods for all materials. Also, this would need to prepare chemicals/reagents and perform on material testing as requested by the users. In addition, one more essential part is to understand and supervise lab equipments used in high performance.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Implement and monitor QC methods, processes and procedures by written technical papers and reports; and prepare standards and specifications for processes, facilities, products, and tests.
2. Perform analytical tests, validate test results and also report of batch completion. Ensure correct storage of data and documents.
- Prepare chemicals/ reagents for material testing
- Perform on raw materials, in-process and final product testing
- Maintain QC documents in place
3. Assess the effectiveness of lab equipments, methods and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements. Investigate any quality drifts and incidents, and contribute to the corrective actions.
4. Archive and keep up-to-date all QC related documentation.
5. Direct, control and coordinate the activities and operations with team. Implement and monitor training programs for technicians and operators.
6. Manage lab equipments in order to work on high performance. Control of lab equipments verified based on their plans.
7. Other duties as assigned.

Desired profile

EXPERIENCE :
·  Minimum 1-2 years in Chemical Plants in an area of quality control or related field.
·  Experience in the areas of quality, SPC process control and business excellence,

EDUCATION :
·  Bachelor of Science Program in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry or related field.
·  Having knowledge of chemical analysis, mathematical, statistic analytical technique.
·  Having knowledge of Management system such as QMS, TQM, 5S and etc.
·  Having skills in problem solving and decision making.

OTHERS :
·  Male or Female, age over 23 years old.
·  Understand and have knowledge and skills on how to use lab equipments.
·  High responsibility and flexibility in the working hours.
·  Good human relationship
·  Computer literate
·  Good command of written and spoken English
·  Strong analytical skills
·  Knowledge of Quality Management System (ISO9001) or ISO14001, OHSAS 18001 are an advantage.
