Job Overview and Responsibilities:

For our Aerospace site in Wrexham we are seeking a Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Engineer to engage with others, develop and deploy HSE policies, objectives and programmes in order to support improvements in operations, minimize risk and ensure compliance across the site.

As HSE Engineer your focus will be;-

-Deploying the Group's HSE policies, procedures, standards and guidelines through the involvement and engagement of others.
-Providing advice on compliance with HSE policies, regulations and legislation.
-Auditing and writing assessment reports of HSE matters.
-Working on specific HSE projects as identified by the business.
-Accident Investigation and sharing of best practice.

This is a proactive and engagement role whereby you will work with the HSE Manager in implementing and maintaining Company policies to local health, safety and environmental regulations.  The role will involve updating procedure manuals alongside keeping up to date with changes in law and regulations that impact the organisation.

Education and Experience:

The role of Health, Safety & Environmental Engineer is important for our site and we need a 'fully proficient' & well-grounded middle level professional.  In order to be successful in this role we will require the following qualifications and experience:

-NEBOSH Qualification.
-Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) Membership.
-Auditors Qualification ISO/BSI
-Demonstrable experience in a similar role gained in a strict regulatory manufacturing environment.
-Excellent knowledge of HSE Management Systems ISO14001 / OHSAS 18001
-Demonstrable experience of conducting Risk Assessments in strict regulatory areas.
-You will be IT Literate with the ability to adapt to new software
