Distribution coordinator (temporary position)

Job description

· Treat deliveries / shipments on SAP by automatic delivery creation and correction / amendment where necessary, ensuring shipment and transport dates & costs are correct on SAP, including specials / on-offs
· Allocate stocks against deliveries / shipments where necessary.
· Release requests to logistics companies via auto-creation on SAP with amendment as necessary
· Follow planned & actual dispatches and monitor progress
· Manage and approve logistics costs for both A to B invoice rejections and for additional costs invoices.

Desired profile

·  Knowledge of Logistics modes and practices
·  Advanced MS Excel knowledge, SAP is a plus.
·  Fluency in English is essential
·  Able to be proactive by following orders, spotting issues, and rectifying problems without reference to direct supervision
·  Ability to liaise with external and internal departments and companies remaining professional at all times even if under pressure or criticism from customers / others.
·  Understanding of customs procedures
