TRAINEE: Internal Audit (IT Development & Data Analytics)

Environment

SG CIB is the Corporate and Investment Banking arm of the Societe Generale Group. Present in over 50 countries across Europe, the Americas and Asia. SG CIB provides corporate, financial institutions, investors and public sector clients with value-added integrated financial solutions.

Internal Audit has the following responsibilities:

·  Identification and evaluation of the risks on audited activities
·  Execution and documentation of the assigned work within budgeted time;
·  Drafting of preliminary audit points to raise audit findings;
·  Following-up of the implementation of audit recommendations;
·  Preparation of the risk assessment & work programs
·  Improvement of audit tools This require data analysis and technical solutions to perform the process more efficiently. This position will involve strong communication with other supervisors and team members in different locations, and may have frequent contacts with audited teams staff and managers.

Mission

Main Responsibilities:

·  Development and support of tools for Internal Audit Transformation Project (GTI)
- Maintain and enhance existing macros
- Communicate with user to get new enhancement / bugfixes
- Study the impact of the new request on existing macros, applications and processes
- Suggest innovative and reliable technical solutions to user requirements
- Deliver the fix / enhance on budget and on time
- Work closely with stakeholders helping them to improve their processes and prepare their integration into the global tools

·  Development and support of tools for Internal Audit processes
·  Assignment to audit missions helping on the data analysis of the controls under the supervision of Head of Mission
·  Team administrative tasks

Desired profile

Profile

Your Profile:

·  Hold a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Accounting or equivalent
·  Previous working experience in data analytics in Financial/Audit field is preferable
·  Experience with Microsoft office with good knowledge of Excel VBA and SQL
·  Experience in Python is advantageous
·  Appetite to learn new things and develop audit skills
·  Attentive to details and producing quality work
·  Taking accountability for own actions
·  Generating creative and practical ideas at work
·  Sharp analytical mind, positive attitude and able to work with all level of staff
·  Good communication, presentation and report writing skills
·  Fluent English is mandatory
This is a fixed term 12 month Trainee contract with Societe Generale. You will form part of the team on a full time basis. In order to apply for the Trainee position please ensure you have completed your qualification and will be available to work full time for the duration of the Trainee contract.
