Public cloud Finops specialist

Job description

Responsibilities

Within the IT infrastructure directorate of the General Socéiété Group, the new Finops team develops all the monitoring and optimization activities of cloud expenditure and accompanies the transformation of Societe Generale's IS.

Within this team, you will be brought to:

·  Track cloud providers' invoices and consumption by trade
·  Propose financial optimizations and monitor their implementation
·  Track service volumes to measure transformation
·  Preconise and implement the finop tools you need for your business
·  Participate more widely in Finops governance and raise awareness among all stakeholders

Profile required

Technical mastery of one of the public cloud services (AWS and/or Azure) - desirable AWS and/or Azure architect certifications

·  Significant experience - 1 year in financial optimization on AWS and/or Azure
·  Knowledge of the cloud providers market and pricing models
·  Broad culture of cloud-related technologies and tools (CI/CD, Python, ..)
·  Ability to understand the business of the company (application needs)
·  Ability to communicate and convince to promote transformation
