Within SOCIETE GENERALE’s Corporate and Investment Banking division, the ITEC CTT (Client and Trading Technology) group is responsible for front office applications utilized in America, Europe and Asia. The New York CTT team is part of a globally-distributed development team providing trader pricing, market-making tools and electronic trading applications to the rapidly growing New York trading desks.
Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking (SG CIB) is at the heart of Societe Generale’s business model, a financial institution relying on solid fundamentals to accompany its clients in their development across sectors and industries.
SG Americas Securities (SGAS) is the Broker/Dealer for SG CIB, trading both listed and OTC products in multiple strategies such as stocks, options, Futures, CDS, etc., in a complex set of legal entities involving proprietary and agency trading. Another component of our business model is related to the SG New York Branch (SGNY) which provide clients a means to USD funding and payments. As this business evolves and continues to develop in a difficult economic context, we require dynamic and motivated resources to build the best and most effective technology environment in order to help the business reach its goals.
The CTT Market Access Develop team partners directly with the Electronic Market Making desks in the development of systems supporting their trading activity, primarily market data and order entry to all electronic markets across various asset classes (equities, options, future, fixed income, commodities, rates).
Your main responsibilities will be :
- Design, develop and implement cutting edge market connectivity system
- Continuously work with colleagues and business leaders to advance each other’s skills
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in New-York is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space.

Profil
Graduate with a Master Degree from University or Engineering School. You ideally have a previous experience in Market Data feed handlers, Client and Market Connectivity products.
You are fluent in English.
A good knowledge of development on Linux is required and experience with Python development. C/C++ knowledge a plus
