Job description



Misiune

Key areas of responsibilities:

-Responsible for all IT initiatives in the business;

-Responsible for complete IT administration;

-Providing IT support to all users in the local business unit as well as collaboration with other IT staff in the HUB;

-Responsible for proactively planning and implementing IT requirements of the business;

Specific Responsibilities:

Deployment of IT Assets

- Allocating IT asset to each staff based on need and requirement;

- Tracking, tagging of IT assets | Maintenance of IT asset Database;

- Maintenance of direct office assets such as Printer, router, Dongles, Pen drives, monitors, mobile phones etc;

- Participate actively in the procurement of IT assets liaising with the Procurement department;

Maintenance and Service of IT assets

- Maintenance of IT equipment on regular basis as per policy or guidelines;

- Maintenance of warranty details for new equipment;

- Repairing/Maintaining of equipment based on need | Computers, Laptops, Mobiles;

- Installation of central tools like Tanium, symantec, mobility programs etc in each PCs as required;

- Maintenance of Office network cabling, Wi-Fi network;

- Proactively propose upgrades/changes as relevant or required;

User Management

- Creating new user, transferring existing users based on inter departmental movements or accounts closure if exiting;

- Database of users to be maintained and updated;

Business Support and Project Management

- support the roll-out of new business and IT applications and development of new infrastructure in line with global policy;

- proactively work with users to recognize and propose IT solutions for business problems to improve efficiency and productivity;

- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to manage open tickets related to business applications;

- Follow up on user testing and with support centers for timely closure of tickets;

Staff Training

- Training all users in the usage of IT assets, both hardware and software such as Outlook, Pulse, Ticketing system, call centre software etc;

- General Laptop | Desktop and Internet usage;

- Training and periodic user awareness on IT and data security including running phishing campaigns;

Profil

Experience, skills & competencies:

-Minimum 3 years' experience in User and Systems support;

-Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Electronics or other relative discipline;

-Excellent use of the English language (oral and written);

Technology skills:

Excellent knowledge of:

-Operating Systems Windows 2007, 2010 and Windows Server 2012R2 on Domain;

-MSOffice and Office 365;

-VoIP and telecommunication technologies;

Good and working knowledge of:

-Active Directory, Exchange server, SQL server;

-Android and iphone IOS infrastructure;

-Internet Information Services (IIS), FTP, WPAD;

-VMware Technology;

-Basic Networking skills (TCP/IP, Switches, Routers, etc.);

-Citrix XenApp IT Infrastructure;

-Group Policies (especially on internet Browsers) and Internet Security;

-System Center Configuration Manager;

Personal Skills:

-a strong customer focus;

-the ability to prioritize workload and good time management;

-self-driven with ability to take ownership of issues and follow through to resolution;

-reliable and dedicated with clear thinking and strong attention to detail;

-ability to design solutions based on the analysis of available technologies;

-good at troubleshooting and problem solving;

Descriere

The position of IT Officer is to manage the local Infrastructure and IT needs (both hardware and software). Should be able to manage the IT function as per global and local IT Policies.
