At Societe Generale, you will be joining the Information Technology division of Global Banking & Investors Solutions
(GBIS), one of the three pillars of SG that brings together Corporate and Investment Banking activities, Private Banking
activities, Asset Management and Investor Services. Every day our teams are ensuring that we deliver the service our
businesses need to compete and serve Societe Generale's clients. Our objective is to deliver great production services
in a well controlled and cost effective way, and to deliver competitive application systems that allow GBIS to grow its
business in existing and new markets, launch new products and take advantage of new opportunities when they arise.

As part of the pre-trade IT department, the Market Fixed Income team is in charge of the development and the support of
all the pricing and analyzing tools of the interest rate derivatives and fixed income trading desks.
This team (4 people in Amer over 30 worldwide) is based in the dealing room and manages applications deployed in Paris,
London, New York and Asia.

Mission

Your main responsibilities will be:

- Support all the Fixed Income flow traders
- Provide quick but effective help to the daily issues encountered by the trading desks
- Interact with support and development teams
- Improve existing processes in order to reduce support time/cost
- Monitor pricing tools effectively, optimize support and prevent issues
- Test new releases in QA environment before release in Production
- Participate to the documentation effort in order to improve knowledge sharing within/outside the team

Desired profile

Profile

Graduate from Engineering school, Business School or University with a master degree in Computer Science with a minor in Finance and-or Maths.
You ideally have knowledge on financial derivatives products coupled with some programming experience using the Visual
Basic (VB) and C# development languages.
You are fluent in English.

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in New-York is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.
