A leading European Bank is looking to add a cross asset sales to its Prime Market Access team in Luxembourg. He/she will be based in the trading room of the bank. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated young graduate student to gain experience on market solutions within a growing desk in a leading bank.

Mission

Description of the Business Line or Department

The Prime Market Access desk is dedicated to the largest and most active clients of the Private Banking division. This eight market experts team is active on all asset classes for sophisticated clients(family offices, private clients, corporates, external asset managers).

During your VIE mission you will be in charge of these responsibilities:

·  Cross-Asset market execution follow-up: monitoring of trade execution on a wide array of assets : equities, bonds, OTC & listed derivatives, FX, Futures.
·  Monitoring of client risk, client portfolios and corporate actions.
·  Main point of contact for Middle and Back office Departments
·  Day to day support to the team (IT, Risk and Compliance topics follow-up)

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Luxembourg is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 2 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. Please see www.civiweb.com , in order to have more details regarding your financial indemnities.

Your profile

Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering school or University, majoring in Market Finance.

A previous experience ina front office/middle office desk (or similar)would be appreciated.

An experience on the foreign exchange market is a plus.You are responsible and client oriented.

You are fluent in English and French.

You have :

·  Knowledge of different asset classes, financial instruments (in particular derivatives) and of the macroeconomic environment.
·  Ability to quickly grasp and understand complex trading strategies and operational concepts.
·  Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and French.
