Job description
Responsibilities
· Improve the efficiency and timeliness of credit approvals
· Allow other team members to focus on more value-added tasks and responsibilities
· Create a back-up support when other team members are out
Assist in the preparation of GLBA monthly credit risk and portfolio analysis for the SGUS Credit Risk Committee
· Prepare the monthly credit risk submission for GLBA which includes gathering the information related to the evolution of the credit quality of the portfolio, providing stats on credit exceptions with regards to the credit risk policy/ credit monitoring, gathering inputs from Business Lines on their portfolio evolution (forward looking pipeline…)
Assist in the Credit approval process for GLBA in AMER
· Production of the weekly pipeline in relation with the business lines
· Take the minutes of the Regional Credit Committee which goal is to review transactions originated or booked in the region which fall under the signing authority of the head of GLBA in the Americas or above.
Ad'hoc
· Participate in audit and regulatory requests remediation where relevant.
· Assist with vaulting of legal documentation
· Other tasks related to the CRE department

Your profile
Graduate with a Master's degree in Finance.
Knowledge of financial products and commercial banking products
Exposure to accounting and financing principles
You are fluent in English.
You are proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, etc)

Business Insight
The CRE department is responsible (i) credit analysis of non-structured transactions for both Corporates and Financial Institutions, and (ii) exposure management for same perimeter. The team consists of ~ 32 FTEs located in NY, Chicago, Houston, Toronto, Montreal, and Brazil with supporting staff in Bangalore India. Client coverage includes large multinational corporates and banks as well as subsidiaries of non-US clients. Products include traditional lending but also strong focus on derivatives and structured products.
