Internal audit is a part of the Inspection Generale and Audit department (IGAD) of SG Group.
Audit main task is to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of controls, compliance of transactions, actual risk exposure, respect of procedures as well as the relevance and efficiency of permanent control. This is achieved by an objective, rigorous and unbiased approach.

IGAD team at SG GSC is currently hiring a Junior Business Auditor.
Mission
Your role
The Junior Auditor participates in audit assignments covering the activities within the scope of the department he reports to.
These assignments consist in:
- Identifying and assessing the relevant risks applicable to business areas
- Verifying the compliance with the internal rules, policies and procedures, legal requirements and regulations
- Assessing the security of the transactions and IT system
- Assessing the efficiency of the permanent control environment
- Assessing the quality of accounting and financial information
- Making recommendations and following their implementation
You will be a part of IGAD team at GSC and will have the following key responsibilities:
- Be engaged in various stages of mission/audit delivery (Diagnostic, Investigation and reporting)
- Following up on recommendations
- Other work assigned by the reporting manager as per the team requirements
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Bangalore is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see www.civiweb.com.
Profile
Your profile
You are graduated with a Master degree from Engineering or Business School or University with a specialization in Finance, Accounting or Audit.
Ideally you have past experience in internal audit department or with a Big 4 company
First experience in the banking industry would be preferred.
Work experience abroad is a plus.
You are fluent in English and your level in French is operational.
You are proficient in Microsoft Office application (Excel, powerpoint). ACCESS would be a plus.
Skills:
The Internal Auditor must be able to analyse various data, both quantitative and qualitative, so that to build a factual opinion about the level of risk within a given activity
The Internal Auditor must be able to write concisely in English and to prioritize his ideas
Can understand the banking activity, to identify the risks related to financial aspects of the processes audited is a facilitator
This could help him/her to better adapt to the audit requirements
The Internal Auditor must be able to present orally its deliverables in English to various level of collaborators within the bank
