Accounting Analyst

Job description

Mission

You will be involved in cost calculation and reporting tasks.

Your Role in a Nutshell:

- Monthly reporting P&L;
- Analysis performed on the existing database;
- Calculating and posting accruals and prepayments;
- Estimating the expense based on historical trend and best information available;
- Comparison actual versus budget - advise corrections;
- Reconciliation management accounting tools with the general ledger;
- Identifying errors from the upstream contributors - mainly accounts payable team – propose corrections and follow up the implementation in the long term run;
- Regular reports to be performed on the specific topics – variances analyses and explanations;
- Challenge the costs process as it is and propose improvements in order to achieve efficiency gains;
- Keep a professional and timely communication – in writing and oral - with onshore team – using English is mandatory;
- Helping staff one one off issues, following up the action plan from creation to full implementation and issue solving;
- Ensuring that the knowledge is transferred and formalized to production teams before the end of the intervention;
-Participate to transversal initiatives.

Profile

A little about You:

- You are an Academy of Economic Studies graduate, preferably Finance/Accounting/Audit; ACCA membership or in progress is an advantage;
- You have min 3-4 years of relevant experience in audit;
- You have very good knowledge of general accounting principles; French GAAP knowledge would be an advantage;
- You are a medium French speaker and good English speaker;
- You have an advanced level of Excel knowledge.
- You have strong communication skills in interacting with different stakeholders;
- You have good analytical, problem solving & investigating skills;
- You are proactive & continuous improvement oriented;
