Job Description

Responsible for IT Infrastructure/Application Support. It includes the following:

· 
Installation/Configuration & Troubleshooting for Web Servers like IIS/Tomcat/Apache etc

· 
Support running Intranet/Web based applications including basic trouble shooting, configuration, checking of log files, Database Management (SQL Server etc)

· 
Basic Troubleshooting of Microsoft Operation Systems like MS Windows 7, Vista, XP and 2003 & 2008 (Professional & Server Versions), as well as Multiple OS like Linux, Unix.

· 
Installation of Patches, Service Packs, Security Fixes for Operating Systems & Applications

· 
Support Back/Up restore of critical data

· 
Configuration/Troubleshooting of Certificate clients like PKI (Crypto) and other Security Tools like Radius

Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN and troubleshooting

Qualification :

· 
Diploma/Degree (BSc., MCA, BE, B.Tech) in IT / SW / CSC

Experience & Skill Set:

· 
2 - 5 years of industry experience including Customer service experience & Ticketing system knowledge

· 
Scripting knowledge, exposure to ITIL standards will be a plus

· 
Desirable - Microsoft Certification like MCSE, MCSA, MCITP

Preferred inter-personal skills/other capabilities:

· 
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team

· 
Good customer orientation & troubleshooting skills
