For our GS SCM Mobility Group in Kartal, we are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer.

The Siemens-Division Mobility is an international leading provider of rail vehicles and services. The portfolio includes the whole range of vehicles – From high speed trains, commuter trains and metros until light rails and trams. Istanbul unit as part of Mobility Division is responsible for the procurement of components for local and worldwide manufacturing.

We are therefore looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer (m/f) of third part deliveries. In this position you will have the opportunity to exert influence and leave your footprint within the organization. You will be responsible for worldwide supplier development and product qualification in the rail sector.

What are my responsibilities?

· Drive the qualification and development of new and current suppliers (i.e. by means of VDA6.3 audit questionnaire)
· Drive, implement and maintain core supplier quality processes and systems
· Definition and implementation of a supplier quality assurance concept up to successful execution of product and processes release at suppliers (“First Article Inspection”)
· To support the realization of product and process development during series production (ramp-up) of our suppliers
· Deployment of root cause and value stream analyses at the supplier incl. definition, implementation and controlling of improvement actions (“CIP”)
· Investigating, analyzing and correcting quality discrepancies in products and qualities of suppliers to minimize non conformance cost

What do I need to qualify for this job?

· Technical Bachelor degree (Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering orElectrical Engineering preferred)and 3+ years of professional experience within the area of supplier quality or quality, preferably from an international company
· Proactive and result oriented, structured approach to complex tasks throughout cross-functional teams
· Auditing experience in ISO9001, IRIS or similar is mandatory, candidates with a Lead Auditor certification will be preferred.
· Knowledge of quality methods and analysis tools (e.g. APQP in manufacturing and product development, 8D in problem solving ) is required
· Possession of outstanding communication and excellent English skills both orally and in writing (Knowledge of German language would be considered as an advantage)
· Willingnesstotravel domestically and abroad,also for several days at a time (70% travelling regularly forecasted)
· Proficiency in MS Office Applications

· Siemens related process trainings will be provided.
· Close working together with HQ organization is requires.
· Place of work: Istanbul.
