What role will you play?

As a member of theStructural Finite Element Solver Teamof Siemens PLM you will design and develop the FE software SAMCEF and NX Nastrandedicated to Structural Analysis.

In this position,you will act as a core architect and foundation layer developer, working on current and future productsrelated to but not limited to Siemens PLM Simcenter Nastran and Samcef.

You will be part of the Core/Architecture group, and report to the Manager for the Core/Architecture Team for Simcenter solvers. This position entails developing and deploying production analysis solutions within Siemens PLM CAE software programs in the USA. You will work collaboratively in anagile teamby defining and planning the work of development, QA and Application engineers

On a daily basis, what will you do?

-Youdesign, develop and deploy current and future platformsfor desktop and cloud related products.

-You work with Product Managers tounderstand customer performance requirementsand bring those enhancements to market in a timely manner.

-You leverage new technological frontiers suchAIandmachine learningto accelerate solution times.

-You work with QA, Technical Support and Technical Doc groups toverify implementation, develop examples and documentation.

-You work on sample areas includingclient-server architecture, HDF5, web service architecturewith an emphasis on scalability and performance.

What is your background?

-You completed a MSc or PhD inComputer Scienceand preferably some background inApplied sciences, Computational Mechanics or Engineeringwith a focus on computational foundation of large scale solutions.

-You have an experience ofHPC(High Performance Computing) with MIC and GP-GPU hardware.

-You have an experience in design and implementation ofalgorithms/data structuresfor GP-GPU development via CUDA and/or OpenCl/ClMagma/Magma/ C++
